Mapalasi
is 250 km from Johannesburg, situated ± 50 km from Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) in the Alma district, Limpopo province. This malaria free farm is situated in the heart of the Waterberg. The farm is ± 900 hectare's of bushveld and has full exemption. The hunter can choose from the common game such as: Kudu, Zebra, Impala, Blesbuck, Blue wildebeest, Red hartebeest and Waterbuck. The following other species are also available to the discerning hunter: Nyala, Mountain Reedbuck and, Common Reedbuck. Only walk and stalk hunting is allowed. We firmly believe in a fair chase hunt. Although the farm is situated in the heart of the Bushveld , it consist of a variety of habitats, dense bushveld, rocky ridges , natural wetlands and open grasslands formed by rehabilitated land.
Facilities provided include a fully equipped butchery and cold room. Our trained field guides are there to assist the hunter with the hunt and to slaughter the carcasses. We cater for individual hunters as well as families. The luxury hunting camp is build above one of the natural springs, and at dusk and dawn one can view the game coming down to drink. The house consists of three bedrooms (sleeps 7) two bathrooms, living area and fully equipped kitchen (220V Electricity) and is serviced daily. On the verandah there's a built-in braai with all utensils available. The freestanding lapa is ideally for a night around the fire, contemplating the day's hunt and enjoying the bushveld night.
